Responsibilities

Responsibilities: 

• Supervises and oversees a team of 10 staff members, ensuring effective workflow and performance.
• Actively participates in various meetings, including department head meetings, Quality Assurance, and staff meetings.
• Implements daily recreation program for the residents of assigned units under the guidance of the department head. 
• Assists in the preparation for programs; encourages residents’ participation and assists in transportation of residents to these programs. 
• Complete written documentation including attendance records and progress notes. 

• Provides data to department head and recreation specialist. 
• Maintains adequate supplies and equipment for use in recreational activities. 

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $33.97-$42.46 per hour

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

• 2 years of experience in activities/recreation 
• Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS)
• Music Therapy-Board Certified (MT-BC)
• Art Therapy- Board Certified (ATRBC) 
• Licensed Creative Art Therapist (LCAT)

Education: 

• High School Diploma/GED 

• BS Degree in Therapeutic Recreation preferred 

Salary

Salary: $33.97-$42.46 per hour
