What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales and Design Consultant position at Archadeck of Chicagoland?
We create spaces for families and friends to gather; it’s a very positive product to design and sell! We are hiring a new Design Consultant to work out of our Palatine office and focus on Lake & McHenry County customers. Our salespeople are thoroughly trained and coached to be successful. If you execute our process, you will succeed! Our training / development program is a minimum of 12 weeks, and you will be making sales by the second month. We will teach you how to design and sell our projects.
The perfect candidate will have successful experience in residential sales and some design background.
Primary Duties:
- Schedule and conduct consultative meetings with clients.
- Creation of appropriate designs that provide the client with solutions.
- Accurately prepare and present recommendations (design solutions and pricing) based on the client’s spatial, functional, budgetary, aesthetic needs and priorities.
- Secure new clients to achieve sales goals.
- Responsible for clients’ changes during the project. (The production team manages all communication and production with the client)

Required:
- Minimum of two years of successful sales experience, preferably in-home
- A strong desire to achieve goals and be successful, we are looking for competitive individuals.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- A creative mind with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
