Intake Coordinator
The Role Itself
- Intake specialist provides Clerical Support to the Assessment and Referral Department.
- Maintains documents necessary for admissions.
- Inventories patient belongings.
- Processes consent forms and admission documentation.
- Provides assistance to other units as necessary.
- Communicates with families, patients, or referrals sources as needed.
- Handles incoming referral calls from potential clients.
