The role involves verifying provider operational status, collecting essential documentation, capturing photographs and GPS coordinates, and documenting findings using CMS-approved tools and checklists.This position requires strong attention to detail, impartiality, professional conduct, and strict adherence to confidentiality and federal compliance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct in-person and virtual site inspections of Medicare/Medicaid providers and suppliers as per CMS protocols.Verify provider operational status, staffing, facility readiness, and compliance with CMS program requirements.Collect and upload all required documentation, including:PhotographsGPS coordinatesProvider signatures (if applicable)Operational and facility detailsComplete all necessary CMS-approved inspection checklists and digital reporting forms.Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of inspection reports.Maintain strict neutrality, professionalism, and confidentiality during all inspections and interactions.Communicate effectively with providers and internal teams while maintaining CMS-mandated etiquette and conduct.Meet performance standards including productivity, quality, and compliance metrics.Participate in and successfully complete all CMS-mandated training, certifications, and refresher courses prior to performing independent inspections.Follow all CMS appearance, conduct, and safety guidelines as outlined in the SOW.Required QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in one or more of the following:InspectionsInvestigationsAudits or compliance reviewsRegulatory fieldwork or site assessmentsExperience working with federal, state, or healthcare compliance programs preferred.Strong understanding of documentation practices and regulatory guidelines.Ability to travel for assigned site visits.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency with digital forms, mobile applications, GPS-enabled devices, and basic office technology.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Preferred QualificationsExperience with CMS, Medicare, or Medicaid operations.Prior fieldwork involving facility verification, compliance monitoring, or investigative research.Familiarity with federal healthcare regulations or accreditation standards.Additional RequirementsMust pass all CMS-required background checks and screenings.Must complete all mandatory CMS training before conducting inspections independently.Adherence to professional appearance and conduct guidelines per SOW.Company DescriptionHIGH Growth, small business.
