Position Summary:
As an Underwriting Service Specialist within E&S Casualty, your role is to ensure account service delivery meets and exceeds our customer’s expectations. The Underwriting Services Specialist utilizes customer service skills, established processes, and various software applications to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are met. Under some supervision, the Underwriting Service Specialist works cross-functionally and is responsible for analyzing key pieces of information, determining the appropriate course of action and handling issues. This position collaborates with underwriters, corporate resources, and global teams to ensure we meet both internal and external commitments. This candidate can sit 100% remote but must work PST hours.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
$55,300 - $75,100/year 5% target bonus

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Policy & endorsement issuance
- File documentation and set-up
- Review account information for data entry into appropriate systems
- Order, prepare and/or update reports
- Policy Rating and/or initial entry into rating model
- Processing of various underwriting transactions and requests
- Correspond with brokers for information at Underwriter’s request
- Booking/Invoicing
- Coordinate services with other services units, as needed
- Analytical and problem solving ability
- Detail-oriented
- Customer-focused
- Collaborative and team-oriented
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2 Years experience in same or related field preferred
$55,300 - $75,100/year 5% target bonus
- Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
