Director, Property Risk Engineer (Remote)

The Director, Property Risk Engineer is responsible for conducting Middle Market field surveys and providing comprehensive service support. This role includes both on-site physical surveys and virtual/phone assessments, focusing on detailed evaluations of operations, exposures, and control adequacy.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct both on-site and virtual/phone assessments of prospects and clients.
• Perform detailed property evaluations and summarize findings in internal reports with appropriate recommendations for loss improvement.
• Assess sprinkler system adequacy and calculate Normal Loss Expectancies and Probable Maximum Loss Expectancies.
• Evaluate Nat Cat exposures (flood, windstorm, hail, wildfire, etc.).
• Provide support to underwriters, policyholders, and brokers.
  
  

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience with conducting HPR (Highly Protected Risk) Property surveys.
• Competency with NFPA and FM data sheets.
• Experience in analyzing loss data and evaluating sprinkler system adequacy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft suite tools and applications.
• Strong analytical and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills for working with underwriters, policyholders, and brokers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
  

Desired Skills:

• Strong industry expertise in Manufacturing, Real Estate, and Hospitality.
• Education: Engineering, or comparable degree/experience.
• A minimum of 7 years of industry experience
