The Director, Investor Relations (IR) supports the communication of Arch’s financial performance, strategy, and value proposition to external stakeholders. The role combines financial analysis with capital markets engagement, including proactive investor targeting and outreach. Key Responsibilities
Earnings & Investor Communications
- Support the creation of quarterly earnings presentations, executive level briefing materials, and investor messaging
- Track analyst estimates vs. actual results and provide insight into key business drivers and variances
- Review earnings call Q&A, investor meeting materials, and management talking points
- Maintain dashboards and models; tracking key insurance and financial metrics
- Monitor business performance, underwriting trends, and peer valuations
- Perform variance, trend, and sensitivity analyses for senior management
- Monitor investor sentiment, analyst reports, competitor earnings, and industry trends
- Prepare concise summaries and briefing notes for leadership ahead of investor meetings and conferences
- Track shareholder activity and maintain investor interaction records
- Support investor targeting efforts and maintain prospective investor lists
- Coordinate investor meetings, conferences, non-deal roadshows, and IR calendars
- Manage meeting logistics, schedules, and follow-up communications
- Use AI and automation tools to streamline research, reporting, and investor analysis
- Leverage AI-driven insights to identify trends, summarize disclosures, and improve workflow efficiency
- Help modernize IR processes through automation and data-driven reporting
- Partner with finance, actuarial, and business teams to ensure accurate, consistent investor messaging
- Support strategic projects, investor day preparation, and ad hoc analysis for senior leadership
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Corporate Communications or related field
- 5 years professional experience, preferably in Financial Services
- Experience with Financial statement analysis
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
- Excellent communication
- Strong presentation and PowerPoint skills, advanced Excel capabilities
- Ability to convert complex financial information into understandable context
- Track record of collaborating and partnering across teams
For NYC: $123,400 - $166,633/year
- Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
