Senior Buyer

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Buyer, based in New York, NY. The Senior Buyer will be responsible for managing procurement activities, negotiating supplier contracts, and ensuring the timely provisioning of quality materials to meet project demands. The role includes managing supplier relationships, conducting market analysis, optimizing cost-effectiveness, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with company purchasing policies and industry standards.

• Strong procurement, supply chain management, and vendor negotiation skills
• Proven experience in inventory management and cost control
• Analytical skills for conducting market research and managing purchasing data
• Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Clear communication, relationship management, and team leadership skills
• Familiarity with building materials and construction industry is strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Ability to work on-site and make prompt decisions in a fast-paced environment
