Job Summary:
The Café Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming café environment, and ensuring a positive guest experience. This role supports daily café operations in a community club house including point of sales transactions, restocking, and basic food preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take orders accurately and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Prepare and serve coffee, beer, wine, and light food items in accordance with recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of all work areas including counters, tables, equipment, and dining area.
- Restock supplies such as cups, napkins, condiments, and food items as needed.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines.
- Handle credit card transactions responsibly and accurately.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Respond to customer questions and concerns, escalating issues when necessary.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or retail is a plus.

- Basic math and cash handling skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
