Who we are looking for: Account Manager, Automotive Sales (Stellantis Team)
At ArcelorMittal, we are looking for someone to join us at the forefront of the steel industry. As an Automotive Account Manager, you’ll have exciting developmental opportunities to promote some of the most advanced and sustainable steel products, collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team, including Global R&D, and supporting customers on their journey to electrification and carbon neutrality. As part of our Sales team, your contributions will be visible all around you, within the company, and with our strategic automotive customers. As a representative of ArcelorMittal North America, you will support unified customer interactions and contribute to the success of both ArcelorMittal Dofasco and AM Calvert.

The account manager supports accounts based on product and/or market segments and is seen as a sales business liaison, advocating for their customers internally while considering internal business goals.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Account Plans aligned with company and Sales & Marketing objectives.
- Monitor sales performance and key metrics; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Build strong customer relationships through regular engagement and effective issue resolution.
- Track customer satisfaction using delivery, quality, and feedback metrics.
- Handle day-to-day customer negotiations, including claims and freight.
- Partner with cross functional teams to achieve goals in profitability, volume, pricing, quality, delivery, and product development.
- Manage OEM/SBU KPIs and scorecard requirements, ensuring timely updates and communication to OEM, Stellantis Purchasing, and internal teams.
- Submit monthly VOC reports to AMD for Stellantis direct parts.
- Support Customer Service and Technical Service teams on account related issues.
- Provide team backup and participate in projects and special assignments.
- Support internal goals in inventory, payments, and explaining billing/volume variances.
- Respond to inquiries on products, delivery, availability, order status, RFQs, and spot buys.
- Serve as the product expert and relay customer needs and performance insights.
- Capture and share market and customer intelligence in AutoHub and within Sales & Marketing.
- Contribute to ABP, MRF, and sales call planning.
- Perform customer and market analysis, including competitive landscape and pricing trends.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- Up to 25% of travel depending on assigned accounts and must be able to travel throughout North America.
- Accomplished skills with Microsoft Suite.
- Must have strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work and manage through non-traditional work schedules.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related field.
- Technical aptitude preferred, Engineering background a plus.
- Automotive sales experience strongly preferred but not required.
- Strong skills in the use of spreadsheets and pivot tables, MS Teams, and other MS Office tools
- Fully utilizes the system resources and sales tools available such as Auto Hub, Power BI: Delivery & Sales Plan, IBP Forecast tool, and newly developed future sales tools as part of daily management to perform job functions.
