The Talent Acquisition Coordinator provides administrative and operational support across the full talent lifecycle, including recruiting coordination, candidate experience, pre-employment, and new-hire onboarding processes. This position connects candidates, Talent Acquisition, HR, and business stakeholders while ensuring a seamless hiring and onboarding experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for the Talent Acquisition teams ensuring a seamless handoff from candidate to new hire.
- Manage phone coverage for Talent Acquisition lines, responding promptly to candidate and internal inquiries and routing calls to appropriate team members as needed.
- Manage and monitor the Talent Acquisition email inboxes and respond to candidate inquiries in a timely manner.
- Administer the employee referral programs for ArcBest and ABF.
- Assist Talent Acquisition Partners with coordinating interviews and career events as needed.
- Create pre-hire records in HRIS (e.g., Workday).
- Coordinate, review, and communicate daily pre-employment drug screening results for candidates.
- Coordinate background checks and physicals when required.
- Conduct or support new hire orientations, as needed.
- Communicate first-day expectations to candidates and hiring managers in a timely manner.
- Maintain and distribute onboarding materials, ensuring timely completion of required documentation (e.g., I 9) and delivery of comprehensive welcome guides to new hires.
- Provide Talent Acquisition and HR policy guidance.
- Maintain confidential records.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred
Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service, recruiting coordination, or HR support, preferred
Computer Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, preferred
- Experience with HR-related systems (e.g., HRIS and ATS), preferred
