ABOUT THE ROLE

Arcalea is looking for a Senior Partner Success Manager who has been doing this long enough to not just understand client management, but to own it. You've spent 6 years in agency environments leading complex client relationships, directing cross-functional teams, and turning performance data into strategic narratives that move clients to action.


This is a senior-level, externally facing role responsible for the full health and growth of a portfolio of established client accounts. You will be the primary point of contact, strategist, and quarterback for everything that touches your clients. You will direct internal specialists across disciplines, and you will be accountable for retention, satisfaction, and account growth.


This role carries real visibility into Arcalea's leadership. Strong performance here creates a direct path toward expanded scope, new business involvement, and leadership opportunity as the agency grows.

Note: This role may also carry the title of Account Director, Client Services Director, or Senior Account Manager at other organizations.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

Client Relationship Management

  • Own the day-to-day and strategic relationship for a focused portfolio of complex, established accounts
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels, from day-to-day contacts to executive sponsors
  • Proactively identify risks to client satisfaction or retention before they escalate
  • Lead all client-facing calls, QBRs, and presentations with confidence and clarity

Internal Team Leadership

  • Direct specialists across SEO, paid media, content, and analytics to ensure work is executed to scope and standard
  • Translate client goals into clear internal briefs, priorities, and deliverable expectations
  • Hold teams accountable to deadlines and quality standards without formal management authority

Strategy and Performance

  • Lead monthly and quarterly performance reviews including data analysis, insight development, and client presentation
  • Translate complex performance data into clear, business-relevant narratives clients can act on
  • Develop fluency in Arcalea's proprietary technology: Galileo (attribution), Compass (ranking intelligence), and the AEO Index
  • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities through client conversations and performance analysis

Process and Operations

  • Maintain rigorous project management across all active workstreams using ClickUp
  • Prepare accurate scopes of work, estimates, and briefs; monitor actuals vs. scope and flag budget risks early
  • Drive process improvement: identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, implement them

AI-Augmented Work

  • Apply AI tools fluently in day-to-day work including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and emerging tools
  • Use AI to accelerate research, reporting, drafting, and data summarization without compromising quality
  • Help establish best practices for responsible AI use across the account management function


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required

  • 6 years of client-facing experience at a performance marketing, SEO, or digital strategy agency
  • A track record of managing complex, concurrent accounts across diverse industries
  • Experience leading client relationships independently, including executive-level communication and scope conversations
  • Proven record of strong client retention and measurable account growth
  • Ability to direct cross-functional teams and hold them accountable without formal management authority
  • Fluency in SEO, paid search, paid social, and content marketing strategy
  • Strong analytical skills with GA4, Google Search Console, HubSpot, and paid media dashboards
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm for process and documentation
  • Demonstrated AI tool proficiency integrated into daily workflows
  • Proficiency with project management systems (ClickUp, Asana, Monday, or similar)

Preferred

  • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms
  • Experience contributing to pitches, proposals, or capability presentations
  • Familiarity with AI search and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior account team members
  • Background on the brand or client side in addition to agency experience


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Salary is $85k-$105k, commensurate with experience which includes full benefits: health, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, professional development support, fully remote work environment.
