Role description:
Arcadis seeks an engineering Senior Roadway CAD Designer to join our Ohio Mobility team based in Akron, OH.
In this position, you will utilize your wealth of experience with detailed CAD modeling for various DOT and local projects, mainly in Ohio. Work on a wide variety of urban and rural projects from concept development, schematic development through final roadway plans, and on right of way plans.

Role description:

Role accountabilities:
- Develop roadway or right of way plans utilizing Microstation/ORD or AutoCAD/Civil 3D, according to ODOT or local guidelines and standards.
- Perform transportation design and right of way work relating to roadway design. Includes plan preparation, drafting, and quantity calculations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microstation/ORD, and AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
- Demonstrate proficiency in developing Right of Way Plans and Utility Coordination.
Required Qualifications:
- 10 or more years of relevant work experience
- Associates Degree or equivalent years (15 ) of work experience in appropriate area of design
- Proficient with CAD, particularly Microstation and AutoCAD;
- Strong Office (Word, Excel) skills.
- Familiarity with ODOT design standards, specifications and policies.
- Familiarity with local utility companies and needed coordination.
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Be a self-motivated, team-oriented and flexible individual who possesses the initiative and ability to tackle new projects and challenges.
- Must have the ability to work on multiple unique assignments simultaneously.
- Willing to work both remote and in-office as needed.
