This is more than just a project management role — it’s an opportunity to use your technical expertise and leadership skills to drive innovative solutions for conveyance, treatment, and master planning projects across Miami-Dade County and South Florida. Role accountabilities:
As a client-facing Project Manager and Engineer, you’ll lead the delivery of diverse water and wastewater projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the planning, design, and construction of treatment facilities, pump/lift stations, and distribution and collection systems
- Leading cross-functional project teams from concept through completion
- Building trusted relationships with municipal clients and guiding them through every step of the project lifecycle
- Mentoring junior staff and ensuring technical excellence across your team
- Developing scopes of work, budgets, and construction documents
- Supporting strategic growth efforts through proposals, pursuit planning, and teaming strategy
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- 10 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater engineering
- Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering
- 12 years of experience managing municipal water, wastewater, or stormwater projects
- P.E. license (or ability to obtain one in Florida within 6 months)
