Role description:

As a Project Controller within Arcadis, you are responsible for the financial health and operational success of our projects. You are a key figure in monitoring financial performance, identifying risks and implementing improvements. You work closely with project and department managers and clearly present the cost and revenue developments and give advice on invoicing. In addition, you fulfill the role of sparring partner, and you are given room to develop yourself further.

Role responsibilities:

  • Financial oversight: Conducting monthly project reviews, critically assessing progress, and ensuring alignment with budgets , forecasts and financial KPIs.
  • Project monitoring: Monitoring of projects (Profitability and DRO), timely invoicing, collection and accurate financial administration in the ERP system (Oracle).
  • Risk management: Proactively identifying, analyzing and resolving risks in the field of budget, quality, forecasting and planning.
  • Business partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to project and advisory group managers and contribute to strategic decisions.
  • ERP optimization: As a key user of Oracle, contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Collaborating with business controllers for ad-hoc analyses and monthly reports and explaining performance differences.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A completed BS education in a financial/business or economic direction.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in project control.
  • Experience in advising and monitoring large projects or programs.
  • Proficiency with Office 365 and knowledge of Oracle is an advantage.
  • Proactive and collaborative attitude; You actively look for opportunities to improve processes.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $86,000 - $142,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
