Radiation Therapist

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality radiation therapy treatments while supporting departmental operations, quality assurance, and compliance initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver daily radiation therapy treatments
- Perform administrative tasks as assigned
- Review and update radiation therapy policies and procedures
- Educate staff and ensure compliance with Ohio Department of Health (ODH) regulations
- Monitor equipment quality checks, safety, and maintenance schedules
- Lead and document Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement meetings
- Assist in developing QA/QI plans
- Support patient care coordination
- Participate in staff training, orientation, competencies, and evaluations
- Assist with billing procedures, audits, and corrections
- Support physicists with quality and safety initiatives
- Utilize and maintain electronic medical records
- VARIAN linear accelerator
- CT Simulation Unit
- Portal Vision
- HIS, PACS, RIS, IMPAC, and related systems
Ideal Background:
- Graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy program
- ARRT (T) certification required
- Valid Ohio Radiation Therapist license
- 3–5 years of radiation therapy experience, including simulation and planning
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $84,000–$107,000, based on experience
- $15,000 sign-on bonus
- Full benefits package
- Call rotation: 1 week on / 2 weeks off
