Arcadia Learning Academy is a high-quality childcare center dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Childcare Program Director to lead our center, support staff, and ensure excellence in all aspects of daily operations.

Job Summary

The Childcare Program Director is responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the childcare center, including curriculum implementation, staff supervision, licensing compliance, enrollment management, family communication, and creating a positive, enriching environment for children and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with state childcare licensing regulations and center policies
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, classroom ratios, and program quality
  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff to maintain a high-performing team
  • Oversee curriculum planning and implementation to meet developmental standards
  • Maintain positive and professional communication with families, staff, and community partners
  • Monitor enrollment, conduct tours, and support family onboarding
  • Manage budgets, billing, and center expenses in collaboration with leadership
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and staff
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and improvement plans
  • Organize staff meetings, professional development, and parent engagement activities
  • Address and resolve concerns involving children, staff, or families
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation required by the state

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (required in many states—adjust as needed)
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in early childhood education or childcare leadership
  • Strong knowledge of state childcare licensing regulations
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated passion for early childhood development and high-quality care

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
