Home Care Aides do not require prior experience or certifications, only the willingness and ability to help others in their daily lives with the help of a written care plan.
Arcadia offers a variety of training to our Home Care Aides via in-person, phone, or video. The different training methods allow us to provide our caregivers with the most meaningful and beneficial training possible.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Home support (light housekeeping, vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes)
- Light meal prep and serving meals
- Accompanying the consumer to appointments when approved
- Grocery shopping, or other errands when approved
- Providing companionship and stimulation for the consumer (reading, walks)
Qualifications:
- Must complete the agency's employment process
- Criminal background check
- Reliable transportation
- Reliable, self-motivated, and well-organized
- Must exhibit maturity, responsible behavior, & maintain consumer confidentiality
- Must be able to follow directions and work as a team
- 3 references (2 professional, 1 personal)
