POSITION SUMMARY:
The science teacher will implement an engaging science curriculum that explores God's creation through scientific inquiry while integrating biblical principles and a Christian worldview.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Teach comprehensive science curriculum across assigned grade levels.
*Design and supervise hands-on laboratory experiences and demonstrations.
*Guide students in scientific research and inquiry-based learning.
*Integrate biblical principles into scientific study, demonstrating harmony between faith and science.
*Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure safety procedures.
*Organize and supervise field trips and other science-related activities.
*Collaborate with other secondary teachers.
*Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Bachelor's Degree in Science, Science Education or related field or appropriate teaching certification.
*Strong knowledge of scientific principles and lab procedures.
*Ability to articulate the relationship between biblical truth and scientific inquiry.
*Excellent classroom management, communication & organizational skills.
