QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED: Valid NYS teaching certificate in Students with Disabilities: Birth-2

 
QUALIFICATIONS
DESIRED:                                         

1. Experience working with special education students in grades K-2.
2. Desire to work within a self-contained classroom model.
3. Desire and ability to work collaboratively with direct and indirect academic teams, including Teacher Assistants, aides, related services providers, counselors and school psychologists.      
4. Knowledge and evidence of Individualized Education Programming and subsequent document development.
5. Evidence of strong classroom management with an emphasis on student engagement .
6. Commitment to ongoing team development, curriculum, instructional techology and professional development.

Salary : $47,000 - $50,000
