Arc70 is seeking a senior fund accountant to support its finance team in Burlingame, CA. Ideal candidates will have 2-4 years of experience working with investment funds or advisory/financial service firms.
Arc70 is an investment management firm based in Burlingame, CA that is focused on financing affordable housing across the U.S. The firm has financed the preservation or creation of over 47,000 units of affordable housing since inception. Arc70 manages over $5.0 billion in affordable housing related investments and works with notable and sophisticated long-term investors. This is an exciting opportunity for qualified individuals to hit the ground running and contribute to the firm’s impact while working alongside highly accomplished principals and investors. This person will be a critical member of the team and will be involved in key aspects of the business.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of financial reporting including capital calls, distributions, capital account management, fees, and waterfall calculations
- Assist with the quarterly close process including reviewing third party back office service providers and fund administrators
- Assist with the annual audit, 1099, and tax processes
- Preparation of quarterly NAV calculations, annual financial statements and partners’ capital statements
- Preparation of performance reporting
- Assist in preparation of information for client/LP/audit requests
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows and cash reconciliations
- Coordinate with the investment team to ensure adequate funding for investments, expenses, and distributions.
- Perform daily cash coding and weekly position reconciliations
- Continually identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancements to increase organizational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance
- CPA a plus
- Experience working in private credit or private equity preferred
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure and adapt to various deadlines and deliverables
- Fluency in Microsoft and Google Suites
