JOB SUMMARY
The primary function of this position is to maintain Arc3 Gases’ liquid cylinder fleet.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transport cylinders to and from storage or sorting areas, loading docks, or delivery vehicles using a forklift.
- Assess liquid cylinders to determine necessary repairs.
- Work with a variety of hand tools.
- Bench test pressure components.
- Fill repaired cylinders with cryogenic liquid to perform post-repair operating and leak tests.
- Enter details of repairs into computer system.
- Operate cylinder buffing machine.
- Maintain inventory of repair parts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support fellow members of the Gas Plant team and perform other related duties as required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diplomas or equivalent is required.
- Forklift license preferred.
- Self-motivated.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Stand and walk for eight-hour periods.
- Bend at the waist and knees frequently.
- Use full body force to tighten ratchet straps frequently.
- Loud noise levels.
- Exposed to all weather conditions.
