ARC Services Inc. is a Merit Based Industrial Services Contractor seeking dependable Millwrights to join our field crew. This role is an excellent fit for military veterans transitioning into civilian industrial work, particularly those with mechanical, maintenance, or equipment-related experience. We value safety, accountability, and teamwork—core traits developed through military service.
Responsibilities Include
- Install, maintain, align, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical systems
- Perform precision alignment of rotating equipment (laser and optical)
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform corrective maintenance
- Conduct rigging, lifting, leveling, and placement of heavy equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
- Perform welding and fabrication as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with OSHA and site policies
- Work as part of a disciplined Merit Based crew in industrial environments
Military Experience (Highly Transferable)
Veterans with backgrounds in mechanical maintenance, engineering, utilities, construction, aviation maintenance, power generation, or heavy equipment repair are strongly encouraged to apply. Relevant MOS/AFSC/Rate experience is valued but not required.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on tool experience
- Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and industrial machinery
- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in active production facilities
- Willingness to work flexible schedules and occasional overtime
- Welding experience preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license required
