Job Title: Project Manager (Multifamily)
Location: Chicago, IL
Our client is a national architecture, interior design, and sustainability firm committed to creating environments that improve the quality of life for residents and communities.
Their diverse portfolio includes master-planned communities, mid-and-high-rise residential buildings (both market rate and affordable), senior living developments, and over 100 conversions and restorations of historic structures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the principals in preparing fee proposals
- Engage In direct client contact throughout the course of assigned projects
- Prepare and track production schedules
- Track and manage budgets for assigned projects
- Determine staffing needs and coordinate staffing with the other PMs
- Assemble and lead coordination with the design and engineering consultant teams
Qualifications:
- Accredited degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
- Licensed Architect preferred; licensure in progress acceptable
- 7 years of experience, including project management on multifamily residential projects
- Experience assisting with fee proposals, scopes, schedules, and staffing plans
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact
- Strong track record managing project schedules and budgets from design through construction
- Experience coordinating internal teams and leading multidisciplinary consultant teams
