Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at ARC Physical Therapy . As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our patients, ensuring their recovery and well-being.
- Perform comprehensive assessments on patients to formulate personalized treatment plans aligned with their individual needs and goals, operating within the OTA scope of practice.
- Review physician referrals and thoroughly examine patients' medical records to identify suitable occupational therapy interventions based on their condition, abilities, and treatment aims.
- Provide direct patient care using evidence-based interventions and established occupational therapy procedures, promoting optimal therapeutic outcomes and patient safety.
- Accurately and comprehensively document assessment results, treatment progress, and provided instructions for patients and their caregivers, adhering to professional standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Create written care plans and set measurable objectives based on initial evaluation findings, collaborating closely with patients and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure a holistic rehabilitation approach.
- Execute personalized occupational therapy treatment programs, integrating therapeutic exercises, adaptive tools, and environmental adjustments to improve patients' independence and quality of life.
- Maintain open communication with patients, caregivers, and team members, including physicians and insurance providers, to coordinate care, address inquiries, and maximize treatment effectiveness.
- Ensure prompt completion of documentation, including progress notes, treatment summaries, discharge plans, and incident reports, to support continuity of care and facilitate reimbursement for provided services.
- Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Occupational Therapy assistant program. New graduates are encouraged to apply, we’d love for you to start your career with us!
- Current state of Kansas license and CPR certification
- Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment

- Monday - Friday schedule (8:00 AM- 5:00PM)
