The Transition Advisor will work with individuals in a one to one ratio as well as facilitate virtual group classes on weekday afternoons/evenings between the hours of 1:00 p.m. - 8:45 p.m. depending on supported individuals availability (scheduled roughly 5-10 hours/week). Staff must reside around the Saint Louis Metro area to be eligible for this role.
What you will do:
Empower people to live their best life by providing inclusive and family centered supports
- Manage caseload with required 1:1 virtual sessions
- Provide personalized support that is aligned with programmatic goals and outcomes
- Implement and modify curriculum for classes
- Facilitate and/or co-facilitate classes based on setting goals, navigating resources and increasing independence
- Complete monthly evaluations for each individual on caseload
- Maintain and update activities and resources focused on transition-aged individuals

What we expect of you:
The flexible, respectful individual we see is an innovative and quick thinker with these qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred, preferably in education, human studies or a related field
- 2 years working with transition age individuals (teens and young adults) with varying support needs
- Teaching and presentation skills also a plus
