ARC of the Treasure Coast is seeking a dependable Lead Rest Area Attendant to oversee daily operations at an I-95 rest area. This role supervises attendants, ensures a clean and safe environment, and supports individuals with disabilities in a team-based setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and support Attendants
- Assign and monitor work; ensure quality and safety standards
- Conduct routine inspections and maintain site cleanliness
- Ensure adequate supplies and proper equipment use
- Perform custodial duties (restrooms, floors, trash, general cleaning)
- Maintain grounds appearance and complete required reports
- Enforce safety protocols and proper PPE use
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years custodial/janitorial experience preferred
- Leadership or training experience a plus
- Knowledge of OSHA, infection control, and safety standards
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record
- Ability to pass a Level II background screening
- Standing/walking for extended periods
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Bending, kneeling, reaching, and use of custodial equipment
