Our Substitute Day Habilitation Direct Support Professionals have the privilege of providing person-centered services to people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities on an "as needed" basis. In this position, you will be responsible for providing hands-on assistance, instruction and guidance, while supporting people as they work to reach their goals and fullest potential.
Ideal Candidate(s):
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid NYS driver's license (preferred).
Has a passion for working with and creating positive, impactful relationships in the lives of the people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Exhibits positive approaches that provide encouragement, mentoring and instruction resulting in effectively achieving and maintaining independence and integration within the community.
