Current opportunities include:
- Morning sessions, including approximately 8:00-10:00 AM or 10:00 AM-12:00 PM
- Daytime hours, with additional availability anticipated
- After-school hours Monday-Friday
- Additional after-school availability Monday-Wednesday

With multiple clients in the Pierre area, there may be opportunities to combine client schedules to build additional weekly hours based on your availability and appropriate client fit.
Exact schedules and weekly hours will be discussed during the interview process and are not guaranteed until client schedules are finalized.
ARC continues to receive new client referrals. As additional client hours become available, we prioritize offering those hours to existing staff who are interested in growing their schedules. While we cannot guarantee future hours, there may be opportunities to expand your schedule as our Pierre-area caseload grows.
Services may take place in a client's home, daycare, school, or community setting.
What You'll Do
As an RBT, you'll work one-on-one with a child under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You'll help teach meaningful communication, daily living, social, play, and other individualized skills while implementing the child's treatment plan.
You'll also collect session data, document progress, communicate with your supervising BCBA, and receive ongoing coaching and support.
Not an RBT Yet? We'll Help You Get Certified.
The full onboarding-to-certification process typically takes approximately 3-6 weeks or longer. The timeline depends largely on how quickly you complete the required 40-hour online RBT training, as well as certification processing and testing availability.
The process includes:
- 40-hour self-paced online RBT training
- ARC training and preparation
- RBT competency assessment
- RBT application
- RBT certification exam
The 40-hour online course is unpaid. Scheduled virtual training with an ARC Lead RBT or BCBA is paid, as are scheduled in-person training opportunities at our clinic if you choose to travel to attend.
Complete your 40-hour online training within 3 weeks or less, and you'll qualify for a $500 bonus. The bonus is added to the paycheck following the date you successfully pass your RBT exam.
After completing the 40-hour training, you will move on to ARC's remaining training and your competency assessment. Once those requirements are completed, we will help you move forward with the RBT application process. After your application is approved, you'll be ready to schedule and complete your certification exam.
The RBT exam is completed in person at an approved testing location.
ARC reimburses the $65 RBT application fee and the cost of one RBT exam attempt, typically around $47, after you successfully pass your exam.
If you do not pass on your first attempt, we encourage you to prepare and try again. You can still receive your eligible $500 training bonus once you successfully pass. ARC reimburses the cost of one exam attempt.
Already certified? Current RBTs receive a $500 sign-on bonus after 30 business days providing client services with ARC.
