Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Foreman Drywall & Framing to lead our crew on commercial and residential job sites. In this role, you will oversee daily field operations including wall framing, drywall installation, and ceiling systems while ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who leads by example and keeps a crew organized and accountable. Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct crew members across all phases of drywall, framing, and ceiling work
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications to plan daily workflow
- Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades on site
- Ensure all work meets quality standards, building codes, and project timelines
- Conduct daily safety inspections and toolbox talks to maintain a safe job site
- Track material quantities, manage deliveries, and minimize waste
- Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or budget
- Mentor and train junior carpenters and laborers
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in drywall, framing, and ceiling installation
- Proven supervisory or foreman experience in a construction environment
- OSHA 40-hour certification required
- SST (Site Safety Training) card required
- Ability to read and execute blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and field best practices
- Excellent communication and crew management skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work alongside the crew as needed
Salary : $35 - $40
