The Supported Employment Manager is responsible for the daily operation of the supported employment program including direct service delivery, documentation, reporting, leadership, supervision and training of Job Coaches, Employment Specialists and placement staff.

The Supported Employment Manager is responsible for the daily operation of the supported employment program including direct service delivery, documentation, reporting, leadership, supervision and training of Job Coaches, Employment Specialists and placement staff.
Essential Functions:
- Hire, on-board, train, supervise and evaluate supported employment staff.
- Ensure adequate systems are in place to schedule staff to meet the diverse needs of individuals in a variety of employment settings.
- Maintain and submit program time sheets and mileage sheets.
- Develop volunteer/job opportunities in community for program participants as requested.
- Coordinate and monitor the completion and implementation of compliant Staff Action Plans (SAP) and ACCES-VR Individualized Plans for Employment (IPE).
- As necessary, develop, write, update and implement person centered Staff Action Plans (SAP) or IPE and individual Safeguards Plan for people supported.
- Ensure the necessary level of supervision (LOS) is documented and implemented by staff. Ensure the individual’s Safeguard Plan, Behavior Support Plan (BSP), Plan of Nursing Services (PONS) dietary guidelines and any other applicable plans are available and followed.
- Complete incident reporting process as required for Program.
- Ensure adequate systems are in place for the contemporaneous completion of daily service notes and the timely completion of Monthly Summaries.
- Complete timely audit of daily notes for billing.
- Prepare billing for finance in a timely fashion.
- Ensure systems are in place and routinely monitor compliance with the various OPWDD and ACCES-VR requirements.
- Assist with service delivery when necessary, including management discussions as per the SEMP ADM.
- Ensure adequate systems are in place to keep the Electronic Health Record (EHR) up to date with current plans and other pertinent information for each individual supported.
- Communicate with residential programs, families, outside agencies, employers and community resources as needed to coordinate services.
- Treat all protected health information consistent with HIPAA.
- Properly utilize and store all agency electronics such as chrome book, laptop, cell phone and/or hot spot.
- Complete timely reporting of required information to OPWDD and ACCES-VR as necessary.
- Serve as a role model for people supported and represent the Agency positively in the community.
- Adhere to Agency policies and procedures.
- Conduct oneself in a manner consistent with the Agency Code of Conduct and Arc Brand
- Attend all required trainings
- Participate in corporate compliance and quality assurance activities as required.
- Assist with Agency safety programs and promotes workplace safety.
- Complete Innovations and Case training as necessary.
- Assist and support people supported to build positive relationships in the community.
- Provide needed support and encouragement for people served to advocate for their needs and rights.
- Ensure compliance with all OPWDD, Medicaid and ACCES-VR regulations, training requirements and guidelines.
- Other related duties as assigned
- Participate in Agency committees.
- Loading and unloading buses.
- Maintain a caseload of supported individuals and provide case management services as required.

- Ability to physically load, unload and secure wheelchairs during transport
- Ability to move chairs, tables and access storage areas
- Ability to drive safely
- Ability to assist people when they are having behavioral challenges
- Generally working in a typical program environment
- May involve frequent travel to off-site locations including job/volunteer locations, community recreational sites and personal residences.
- May require evening and weekend work.
- May require use of personal vehicle.
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field with two years’ experience or
- Associate’s degree with six years’ experience working with people with disabilities
- One year of supervisory experience is required
