Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial kitchens, using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Conduct floor care procedures including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of hoods, vents, filters, ducts and equipment to meet client standards
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly
- Use specialized equipment for floor care and buffing to achieve a professional finish
- Must be available to work night shifts, with the possibility of transferring to days
Experience
- Prior janitorial experience in commercial or industrial kitchen environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with various cleaning techniques, including floor care and industrial cleaning processes
- Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure safety and effectiveness
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
