About the Role: Medical Administrative Assistant
- Schedule medical appointments as prescribed and/or assigned.
- File and maintain filing system for medical or program forms as assigned.
- Disseminate memos, reports, meeting minutes, programming, correspondence and
other documents as assigned - Field telephone calls in a professional manner.
- Organize and maintain Communication Logs, ensuring end of the month thinning and
maintenance. - Process delivery receipts for pharmacy to ensure proper billing, as assigned
- Perform receptionist duties for all visitors, as needed.
- Comply with all related health, safety and security SOP’s
- Maintain efficient and effective organizational systems.
- Compile, type and distribute Habilitation Plans in a timely manner.
- Request and assure timely receipt of medical records from hospitals, physicians, etc
- Perform other duties as required.
What are the requirements?
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- At least 1 year of experience in a clerical capacity with word processing.
- Must successfully complete required screening: Level II background check, physical and drug screen
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be able to effectively organize and maintain resident’s medical and central records.
