POSITION SUMMARY:
Leads the maintenance team. Responsible for site facilities and equipment maintenance, including PM, LOTO, and parts MRO. Works with site management and engineering to design and implement site process and facilities improvements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure equipment uptime and production readiness. Track and reduce downtime.
- Coordinate all site maintenance activities, both with internal staff and with external contractors.
- Oversee all work, internal and external, ensuring safe execution following best practices for quality results.
- Train and continuously improve the maintenance team.
- Plan and manage capital projects such as equipment overhauls and renovations.
- Create and improve maintenance procedures and documentation.
- Maintain and improve LOTO system.
- Purchase and maintain parts and tool inventory.
Supported processes include: Powder handling and drying, wet and dry mixing, liquid dispensing, dust control and evacuation, water treatment, packaging, vacuum, chiller, and oven. Facilities processes include HVAC (including precision humidity control), electrical, plumbing, some in explosion-proof environments. Also includes general building maintenance and groundskeeping.
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS*:
At least 10 years of hands-on experience with equipment maintenance in a high volume production environment, with advancement and leadership.
Experience with general facilities maintenance: utilities, buildings, and grounds.
Demonstrated troubleshooting skills with diverse equipment.
Demonstrated experience with training and developing skilled technical personnel.
Demonstrated experience creating maintenance procedures and documentation.
Basic computer skills with Word, Outlook, Excel, and experience with MS Project or similar project management software, as well as CMMS maintenance tracking software such as Mpulse or MaintainX.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work will take place in shop environments both with and without climate control. Basic PPE use is required at all work areas. Prolonged periods standing. Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time. Employee may be exposed to high concentrations of foreign material requiring use of a respirator. Employee may be required to work weekends, holidays and be on-call. Travel may be required for other site support or for training.
