ARC is seeking an Innovation & Operations Engineer to help strengthen how our systems, data, and workflows operate across the organization. This role is focused on improving how our platforms work together - enhancing data integrity, streamlining workflows, and ensuring systems are aligned and operating efficiently across the organization. This job gives you the opportunity to put on a hard hat and get into the field to have a direct impact on exciting projects that transform the way communities are built.
Position Overview:
The construction industry has historically struggled with fragmented workflows, inconsistent data, manual administrative burden, communication overload, and slow adoption of modern operating systems. While many industries have transformed digitally over the past twenty years, construction remains one of the largest and most operationally complex industries still early in its transformation journey.
The Innovation & Operations Engineer will lead research, implementation, and optimization initiatives involving emerging technologies, AI tools, robotics, operational software platforms, and business systems across the company.
This individual will play a critical role in improving how systems communicate, enhancing data visibility, streamlining operational workflows, and supporting companywide technology adoption.
The Innovation & Operations Engineer will also serve as ARC’s primary point of contact for technology consultants, managed service providers, and strategic technology vendors, helping align business goals with technology initiatives.

Support and enhance core business systems, working closely with Leadership Team, to ensure platforms function effectively across workflows - not just individually.

Innovation & Technology Leadership
- Lead and manage research and development initiatives involving AI tools, robotics, emerging technologies, and operational software platforms across the company
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, communication, reporting, and project execution through innovation and automation
- Evaluate and recommend scalable technology solutions that align with ARC’s long-term strategic goals
- Support and enhance core business systems while working closely with the Leadership Team to ensure platforms function cohesively across workflows - not just independently
- Improve system connectivity, data flow, and operational visibility between departments and platforms
- Help establish scalable processes and technology standards as the company grows
- Build and maintain dashboards, reporting systems, and data tracking tools using Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms to support operational and executive decision-making
- Analyze trends and provide insights that improve forecasting, efficiency, accountability, and project visibility across teams
- Develop and maintain SOPs, technical documentation, and training materials to drive consistent software utilization and companywide adoption
- Train and support team members on new technologies, software systems, and evolving operational processes
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation throughout the organization
- Support cybersecurity initiatives, risk mitigation efforts, and technology compliance across digital assets and operational platforms
- Serve as the primary contact for technology contractors, managed service providers, software consultants, and innovation partners
- Coordinate technology-related initiatives including system implementation support, troubleshooting coordination, software evaluation, and operational alignment
- Collaborate with field teams and operations staff to identify technology opportunities that improve safety, scheduling, communication, and project delivery
- 2–5 years of experience in business systems, data analysis, or operations technology
- 2 years of proven success in project management
- Strong background in Microsoft 365 and data/reporting tools (Excel required; Power BI a plus)
- Experience with Python, Tableau, SQL, and similar technologies
- Fluency with technologies including AI and machine learning
- Ability to understand and improve data flow between systems
- Experience working with external IT providers or vendors preferred
- Ability to translate business needs into practical system solutions
- Willingness to put on a hard hat and PPE while supporting field operations
- $100,000 - $125,000 annual base salary
