Duties
- Prepare food items according to company standards, maintaining high quality and safety standards
- Assist customers with their orders, upselling menu items to enhance their experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions, perform cash handling duties, and give accurate change using basic math skills
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food prep stations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
- Support food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to serve guests warmly and professionally
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while managing time efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totals
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with cashiering, upselling techniques, and serving in a café or retail store setting is preferred
- Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus for preparing menu items accurately
