Responsibilities
- Identify and assesses the education needs of clinical staff to ensure that they are competent to provide direct patient care
- Provide leadership to the nursing staff in the nursing care delivery system in accordance with Arbour Hospital’s philosophy and established nursing standards of practice of care and policies and procedures
- Conducts clinical training of nursing staff to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
- Perform audits to access competency and compliance of nursing staff
- Collaborate with medical providers, patient care staff, and unit management in the planning, implementation, and delivery of educational curricula
- Educate technical and patient care staff in the use of new equipment, supplies, and instruments
- Conduct patient groups on assigned units
- Other duties assigned by the Director of Education

- MA RN License
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing Education: Masters Preferred
- Current CPR, Handle with Care certified preferred
- 2 years Inpatient Psychiatric Experience Preferred
