Job Overview
ArborPro LLC is seeking an experienced ISA Certified Arborist to join our growing team.
Unlike many arborist positions, this is a hands-on field role. We utilize modern mechanized tree removal equipment to safely and efficiently complete tree work, reducing unnecessary climbing whenever possible. If you enjoy working outdoors, operating equipment, and being part of a professional crew, we'd like to hear from you.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in safe, efficient tree care and wants steady, year-round employment.
Responsibilities
- Perform tree pruning and removals following ANSI A300 and Z133 standards
- Operate mechanized tree removal equipment, including loaders, grapple saws, cranes, and other specialized equipment (training available as needed)
- Lead or assist field crews in safe and efficient tree operations
- Evaluate trees in the field and determine proper pruning and removal techniques
- Perform climbing and aerial work when required (not an everyday responsibility)
- Assist with rigging, job setup, and maintaining safe work zones
- Communicate professionally with customers while on-site
- Maintain ArborPro's high standards for safety, quality, and professionalism
Requirements
- Current or prior ISA Certified Arborist credential
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum 3 years of professional tree care experience
- Strong knowledge of proper pruning, removals, and tree care practices
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
Preferred
- CDL Class A
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Knuckleboom or grapplesaw experience
- Climbing experience
