ArborOakland Group is a one-stop printer serving local, regional and national clients. We provide our clients with a broad range of services including Commerical Printing, Digital Printing, Wide Format Printing, Mailing, and Kitting & Fulfillment. We are looking for a Bindery Operator for our day shift operations (7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) to join our team.
The right candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced production environment. This person will have attention to detail and ideally familiarity with printing, bindery/finishing (folders, cutters, booklet maker, etc) or are EAGER TO LEARN.

JOB DUTIES:
- Set up and operate bindery machines, such as Cutting, Folding, Saddlestitching, Scoring and Die-Cutting equipment.
- Read / Understand job tickets to determine instructions and specifications for machine set-up.
- Install or adjust bindery machine devices.
- Review products to ensure product quality.
- Maintain records, such as daily production records, using specified forms.
- Maintain or make minor repairs to equipment.
- Experience with any of the following equipment is a plus but not required: MBO / Stahl continuous feed folders, Muller Martini saddle stitcher, Horizon Saddle Stitcher, Polar Cutter, Heidelberg cylinder die cutters

- Mechanical Aptitude
- Commercial Bindery experience preferred but not required. On-the-job training is available.
