Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tree Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscape maintenance, with experience in tree trimming and related activities. This role involves working outdoors, using various tools and equipment to ensure the health and aesthetics of trees and landscapes. The Tree Trimmer will play a crucial part in maintaining safe and beautiful environments for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain healthy growth and enhance the appearance of trees.
- Climbing trees using ropes, spurs and other rigging. Operate bucket trucks safely to access high branches and perform necessary trimming tasks.
- Conduct thorough inspections of trees to identify any signs of disease or damage.
- Implement proper tree care techniques to promote healthy growth.
- Assist in landscape maintenance tasks, including lawn care and general garden upkeep.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring all safety measures are followed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in tree trimming, tree care, or landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating bucket trucks and other relevant equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of gardening principles, including plant growth requirements and pest management.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while adhering to safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on job location.
