What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tree/Plant Health Care Technician position at Arborcare/Arborscape, Inc.?
Will require a valid drivers license, good driving record, and ability to obtain a pesticide applicators license. Experience with customer service and sales also helpful.
Responsibilities – Perform general health and insect and disease control treatments to trees and shrubs using spray and injection tools. -Lead the day-to-day scheduling of your route for assigned treatments and areas. -Interact with clients to ensure services and programs are performed in accordance to Arborcare’s standards. -Be a team player. -Perform vehicle and equipment maintenance. -Read and understand product labels, mix and apply in accordance with State and Federal Laws.
Qualifications – -High school diploma or equivalent. -Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to pass background check. -Ability to work independently and display excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills. -Work outdoors in all weather conditions, and be able to lift 50 lbs. -State of Utah Commercial Pesticide Applicators License (or ability to obtain one) -Knowledge of tree and shrub identification desired, but willing to train the right person.
