Essential Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring meal quality, cleanliness, and timely service
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure meals align with dietary and therapeutic needs
- Supervise and support kitchen staff; assist with scheduling, training, and daily direction
- Assist in menu planning and food preparation, ensuring flexibility for special dietary requests
- Maintain appropriate food inventory levels and place orders with approved vendors
- Monitor food safety and sanitation practices in line with regulatory standards (e.g., ServSafe, OSHA)
- Ensure kitchen logs, temperature checks, and safety protocols are consistently followed
- Participate in food prep and service during peak times or staff shortages
- Suggest and implement improvements to recipes or meal processes to enhance client satisfaction
- Maintain a safe and positive work environment, identifying and addressing issues proactively
- Perform other duties as needed to support kitchen and facility operations

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of culinary or food service experience; prior supervisory experience preferred
- Hands-on experience with commercial kitchen equipment and basic inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation procedures
- ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Culinary training or certification preferred
- Leadership and team coordination
