Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager with a strong background in Broadcast Media Production, Distribution, and Media Technology. The ideal candidate will lead complex programs and projects across media workflows, ensuring successful delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. This role requires expertise in media platforms, streaming technologies, broadcast operations, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end program and project management for media technology initiatives.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, QA, Operations, and Product teams.
- Drive project governance, status reporting, risk management, and executive communication.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure successful delivery.
- Support pre-sales activities, solution design discussions, and customer presentations.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
- Monitor project performance and drive continuous process improvements.
Required Technical Expertise
- Broadcast playout and live orchestration systems.
- Asset ingest, metadata management, and transcoding workflows.
- Broadcast scheduling and content management systems.
- Playout automation and graphics insertion platforms.
- Transport streams, encoders, and video distribution technologies.
- Streaming protocols including SRT, Zixi, HLS, and DASH.
- Delivery technologies including Fiber, ASI, and SDI.
- AWS Media Services (MediaLive, MediaStore, MediaTailor).
- EPG (Electronic Program Guide) systems.
- Video codecs including MPEG-2, H.264, and H.265.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in the Media Technology or Broadcast domain.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
- Proven experience managing large-scale media technology programs and projects.
- Strong understanding of broadcast, streaming, and content delivery ecosystems.
