Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – PRN Float Pool

Overview
Arbor Place Memory Care is a 16-bed assisted living community specializing in dementia care. We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide PRN clinical coverage across all shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.
This role supports continuity of care in a small, structured environment where residents receive individualized, relationship-based care.
Responsibilities
●
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and physician orders
●
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
●
Monitor and document resident condition and report changes promptly
●
Communicate clinical updates to physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members
●
Support caregivers and medication technicians in daily clinical operations
●
Respond to urgent or emergent resident needs
●
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
●
Follow infection prevention and safety protocols
Qualifications
●
Current LPN licensure in the state of Maryland
●
Current CPR certification
●
Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or memory care preferred
●
Ability to perform clinical assessments and respond to changes in condition
●
Strong communication and documentation skills
●
Ability to work independently in a small community setting
Schedule
This is a PRN (as-needed) position. Shifts are assigned based on facility needs and nurse availability. There is no guaranteed minimum number of hours.
