Sales Arborist Representative
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Arborist Sales Representative to join our team. This role combines arboricultural expertise with client relationship management to provide professional tree care solutions for residential and commercial clients.
The Arborist Sales Representative meets with property owners to evaluate tree health, assess potential risks, and recommend appropriate services including pruning, removals, plant health care, and long-term tree management. This position is ideal for an arborist who enjoys working directly with clients, building relationships, and developing customized solutions that improve landscape health and safety.
Successful candidates are self-motivated, knowledgeable about tree care best practices, and comfortable managing projects from consultation through proposal and completion.
- Conduct on-site property consultations with commercial clients
- Assess tree health, structural integrity, and potential risk factors
- Recommend appropriate services including pruning, removals, cabling, and plant health care treatments
- Prepare detailed service proposals and cost estimates
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Collaborate with operations teams to schedule and complete work efficiently
- Identify new business opportunities and support company growth
- Maintain accurate records of consultations, proposals, and client communications
- ISA Certified Arborist preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Knowledge of tree biology, pruning standards, and tree risk assessment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to explain technical arboricultural concepts to clients
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience in arboriculture, landscape management, or related field preferred
