Arbor Management a privately held Illinois based, Food Service Management Company, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Food Service Director for Canton S.D 66. This position is responsible for supervising all operational activities, including food ordering and inventory, client relationships, meeting or exceeding target budget goals and monitoring all State and Federal requirements for the National School Lunch Program for multiple schools within the School District.
Applicant must have a degree from an accredited college or university OR an equal equivalent level of applicable food service management experience. The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, demonstrate knowledge of cooking techniques, proper food handling, basic accounting and money handling skills; and managing and on boarding employees. Must have a current State of Illinois Sanitation Certificate. Extensive knowledge of the National School Lunch Program is a plus.
This position offers an extensive compensation package including: salary compensation with experience, annual performance bonus, mileage reimbursement while traveling to the schools within the district, health-Life ad&d insurances,and all expenses reimbursed.
