POSITION SUMMARY

Garden Team Members will be responsible for properly executing daily tasks in Flower or Veg Rooms with full efficiency and a strong attention to detail. Those on the Garden Team will be required to demonstrate previous experience in a regulated horticulture environment with a preferable background in production management in comparable agriculture industries. These positions are expected to take direction from the Head of Cultivation and work directly with other support staff to comply with all daily production maintenance and plant health procedures throughout the duration of the flower phase for all plants in the facility. This position will work directly with other support staff to comply with all cloning, feeding and phase change procedures including METRC and data inputs.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

· Execute all aspects of cannabis cultivation including but not limited to the following: defoliating, pruning, topping and cleaning, hanging, bucking, drying, and trimming.

· Assist in collecting data to monitor flower quality, environmental control systems and seed-to-sale tracking.

· Assist in maintaining paperwork such as room maps, waste logs and harvest logs as needed.

· Maintain clean environment in all areas including sanitizing by removing and disposing of all cannabis waste, cleaning and sanitizing all rooms and tools used daily to mitigate potential pest problems.

· Must always wear protective lab attire (provided) while working with product; gloves, face mask, hair net, nonslip shoes, scrubs and clean lab jackets.

· Assist cultivation/post-harvest teams with any tasks as required.

· Ability to stay focused for long periods of time on a single task.

· Expected to work well independently and not get sidetracked.

· Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments without direct authority in fast paced environment.

· Other duties as needed or as assigned.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

· Basic understanding of botany, horticulture and/or agriculture preferred.

· Experience working in a fast-paced production environment required.

· Ability to communicate clearly and accurately. Regularly required to communicate professionally in person, over the telephone, through email and other electronic means.

· Must comply with state regulations and guidelines.

· Ability to pass a state background check.

· Must be 21 years of age or older.

· Possess a valid driver’s license or state ID.

· High school diploma.

· Energetic team player, willing to take direction and learn.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties of this job.

· Stand dynamically for long periods without a break.

· Ability to move quickly and accurately.

· Use hands to finger, handle, and/or feel; the ability to type, pick, pinch with fingers, seize, hold, grasp, or turn with hands and perceive attributes of objects and materials such as size, shape, temperature, or texture, by touching with fingertips.

· Maintain balance while walking, standing, or crouching.

· Twist upper torso.

· Reach up and out with hands and arms.

· Long periods of prolonged standing, sitting, and use of equipment.

· Some crouching or holding uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time; repetitive motions.

· Requires bending and lifting, up to fifty (50) pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Similar to a busy manufacturing facility or warehouse.

· Occasional exposure to loud machines (ear protection provided) and extremely bright lights (eye protection provided).

· Occasional weekend or extended hours may be necessary during certain phases of production.

· Manual labor/manufacturing

· Ability to work in hot and humid environment while completing tasks.

Job Type: Full-time
