Arbor Associates is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Manager to support an outpatient behavioral health clinic in Pittsfield, MA. This contract role focuses on overseeing nursing triage processes, consulting on level-of-care decisions, and providing brief nurse case management for a defined caseload of up to 20 clients.
This role is ideal for an RN with strong behavioral health judgment who is comfortable leading clinical processes, supporting outpatient care delivery, and serving as a steady clinical resource for the team.
About the Role
As the RN Manager / Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day nursing operations within the outpatient clinic, ensuring effective triage, timely clinical decision-making, and continuity of care. You will provide short-term nurse case management, support clinical staff, and collaborate closely with providers to ensure clients are routed to the appropriate level of care.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage nursing triage and intake workflows
Consult with providers on level-of-care recommendations
Provide brief nurse case management for up to 20 outpatient clients
Conduct nursing assessments and ongoing clinical monitoring
Coordinate medication-related needs with prescribing providers
Respond to clinical concerns or escalations during clinic hours
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and external partners
Ensure accurate, timely clinical documentation and compliance
Support care coordination, referrals, and follow-up planning
Assist with transportation coordination for medical services as needed

- Active Massachusetts RN license
- Experience in behavioral health, psychiatry, crisis stabilization, or related settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of psychotropic medications and crisis intervention
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work effectively with high-acuity adult populations
- Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle
- EMR experience preferred
