What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at ARBOC Specialty Vehicles, LLC?
What You Will DO:
- Responsible for identifying quality and process gaps and non-conformance issues on the bus
- Must be able to read blueprints and use a variety of precision testing and measuring instruments
- Good interpersonal, communication, problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work effectively in ateam environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet workload demands
- Clear understanding of the bill of materials as it relates to production completion
- Ability to perform required duties with minimal supervision
- Available to work overtime as required
- Understand the Production Quality system and follow documented processes and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with general assembly of a bus, truck and/or automobile
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Computer and organizational skills
- Experience in the Bus Manufacturing would be ideal
- Previous experience with 5S and lean manufacturing would be considered an asset
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. Must be able to lift and/or move items over 25 pounds
