About the Role
We are partnering with a well-established personal injury law firm that is looking for a Bilingual Attorney (English–Spanish) to join their growing team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys a high-volume caseload, direct client interaction with Spanish-speaking clients, and working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
You will manage personal injury cases from intake through resolution, providing legal guidance to clients, negotiating with insurance companies, and preparing matters for litigation when necessary.
- Manage a high-volume caseload of personal injury matters from intake through settlement or litigation.
- Conduct client consultations, gather facts, and develop case strategies.
- Communicate regularly with clients in both English and Spanish, providing clear updates and explanations about their case.
- Draft and review legal documents, including demands, motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
- Negotiate with insurance companies and opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure files are complete, organized, and moving efficiently.
- Maintain accurate case notes and documentation in the firm’s case management system.
- US Citizen or Green Card holder.
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in North Carolina.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in personal injury law (plaintiff-side).
- Comfortable handling a high-volume caseload and working with Spanish-speaking clients on a daily basis.
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and client-service mindset.
- Ability to work on-site in Charlotte, NC (other satellite offices may be considered for the right candidate: Jacksonville, Fayetteville, or Chesapeake).
- Base salary up to $110,000, depending on experience.
- Additional commissions and profit sharing available based on performance.
